Andrew Poole is chief executive at law firm MinterEllisonRuddWatts, responsible for the overall leadership of the firm, with the board, and driving forward the firm’s strategy and growth. He has extensive leadership experience and an in-depth understanding of the legal profession. 

Prior to his role at MinterEllisonRuddWatts he was chief executive and board member at Chapman Tripp. His law career has included making partner at Kensington Swan, as well as working at CMS Cameron McKenna, a major law firm in the UK.

Andrew’s led significant projects for the strategic philanthropy fund, NEXT Foundation, which invests in multi-year initiatives that are transformational and inspirational. 

He’s executive chair of the Rotoroa Island Trust, which manages a conservation, education and tourism asset in the Hauraki Gulf.  And he’s a founding trustee of The Education Hub which bridges the gap between research and practice in education.
